Kid Rock

Despite his urban rap lyrics, he grew up in a suburban, lakefront home, with chores that included picking apples from the family orchard and feeding horses. Started out as a DJ at parties and clubs in and around Detroit. Appeared with diminutive sidekick Joe C. on a 2000 episode of The Simpsons . While in Baghdad to sign autographs for the troops in 2003, put on an impromptu concert using instruments designated for a military band.
