The Ink Spots

Vocal quartet the Ink Spots were a major influence on 1950s doo-wop. Their beginnings were in Jerry & Charlie, the Indianapolis duo formed by Jerry Daniels and Charlie Fuqua (uncle of the Moonglows' Harvey Fuqua). By 1934, they had evolved into the Ink Spots.
