Talulah Gosh

Formed in Oxford, in February 1986, Talulah Gosh were captains of England’s mid 1980s twee revolution. Led by Amelia Fletcher, the band purveyed an almost overwhelmingly cutesy aesthetic equal parts American Girl Group, bubblegum punk, and child-like innocence. Their song “The Day She Lost Her Pastels Badge” perfectly encapsulates the twee sound and also nods to the band and movement’s patron saints.
