Towa Tei

Towa Tei is a Japanese-born DJ of Korean descent. Since he kicked off his solo career in 1995 with the album Future Listening!, he has released several solo albums, some of which feature collaborations with prominent musicians such as Kylie Minogue, Mos Def and Miho Satori of Cibo Matto. Previous to his successful solo career, Towa Tei had scored an international hit with the song "Groove is in the Heart" as a member of the New York club trio Deee-Lite. He can currently be found playing sets in clubs around Japan.
