U2

One of the most well-known legendary rock bands, U2 originated in Dublin, Ireland and was formed when they were all teenagers in high school in 1976. The band members to this day are Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen, Jr.
There first album, "Joshua Tree" rocketed them to stardom followed by "Achtung Baby". To this day they have released 12 albums, won 22 Grammy Awards, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. They have been humanitarians as well, being part of Amnesty Intl, ONE Campaign, Product Red, and Bono's own DATA campaign
