Hocket is Robby Stafford (leader), Scot Stafford, Celeste Winant, Shira Kammen and David Kurtenbach. We bring to life music from both the Ars Nova and Ars Subtilior periods (14th-15th centuries) and focus in particular on the sacred and secular works of Guillaume de Machaut. Our members have been individually featured in acclaimed performances by groups ranging from American Bach Soloists to Fortune's Wheel to Ensemble P.A.N. to the rock band, Applesaucer.
