Rhythmicity

Local African and Afro-Cuban drumming group Rhythmicity will play at the Holly Springs Cultural Center on Friday, July 10 beginning at 6:15 p.m. The free concert is sponsored by the Town of Holly Springs as a part of Art After Dark 2nd Friday. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the show then step inside for more music and a free reception for the opening of this month's art exhibit. Look for the band at other locations along the art walk August through November 2009.

Rhythmicity is a percussion group that taps the vibrant and dynamic rhythms of multiple cultures. The members of the group bring their love and appreciation for West African music to the mix to spread the joys of rhythm. Rhythmicity invites their audiences along for the ride and encourages participation and dancing.
