Stellar society pianist Frederick Hodges plays the syncopated rhythms of ragtime with virtuoso panache, and has for some time been a fixture at Art Deco era events as well with his renderings of of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart, and other exciting composers of the 1920s and 1930s, sometimes in company with the Royal Society Jazz Orchestra. He is also familiar to silent film buffs as accompanist for movies screened by the Silent Film Festival and the Niles Silent Film Museum.
