DJ Ashish B

AshishB comes from a truly international background - born in India, brought up in Dubai, schooled in England, and now based in Boulder, CO. He started mixing music at the age of 16, and did high school gigs and mixsets for dance performances. He started using professional equipment when he was in England, where he was also exposed to the huge Bhangra and Asian Fusion scene.


After moving to Boulder to attend University, Ashish became an integral part of the South Asian cultural scene on campus… Show more and in the Boulder-Denver area. In addition to cutting personalized mixsets for dance performances for SASA and other international groups on campus, Ashish has DJ-ed over 12 gigs over the last four years, drawing crowds of 300-400 people for every gig. He's also done club events (Church, Lotus), private parties - ranging from weddings to birthdays. He has had the opportunity to work with different styles of music for different events - Bollywood / Bhangra / Asian fusion / Hip hop / Arabic / Dance / Electronic / Dandia.
