Club América is a Mexican football (soccer) club based in Mexico Cityu, and competing the Primera División - Mexico's top league. The club is currently owned by Emilio Azcarraga, the owner of Televisa. They're major rivals are Chivas Guadaljara, with América capturing ten overall championships to Chivas' eleven. Their derbies (rivalry match-ups) are known as Clásicos.
