Dave Eggers
Dave Eggers' first book, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Eggers also shares a personal connection with our school and city; he was our visiting author in 2010 and discussed his nonfiction work Zeitoun, the 2010 One City One Book selection. Eggers also launched 826 Valencia, an SF-based writing and tutoring lab for young people.
