Activist, artist, singer, songwriter and most importantly Beatle. It was his partnership with Paul McCartney that created the musical genius that was the Beatles; without one another their songs were still influential but without the same impact on society. John Lennon remains a powerful mentor to musicians to this day and I enjoy nothing more than catching live performances of his music.
