Loose Ends
Not too much is known about this mid-'60s Birmingham-based band, beyond the fact that they seemed to take their lead from the original Denny Laine-era Moody Blues rather than the more progressive Move, and that their drummer was one Alan Marshall. Their two singles for English Decca included covers of Moody Blues and American R&B-style numbers, and a rendition of the then-new George Harrison song "Taxman." Their sound, at least in the studio, was heavily influenced by Motown. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
