Sassparilla

Sassparilla at their core are the true sound of Portland. Their music is dirty-grass, indie-roots, punk-Americana all rolled into one epic sound. Not to mention, Sassparilla offer one of the most entertaining and sweaty live shows in the Pacific Northwest. The band is comprised of Kevin "Gus" Blackwell (vocals, cigar box guitar, national resonator guitar), Ross "Dagger" Macdonald (harmonica), Colin "Sweet Pea" Macdonald (washtub bass), Naima (vocals, accordion, washboard), and Justin Burkhart (drums).
