Shotgun Abby

Shotgun Abby began as an acoustic duo from Saint Louis, Missouri. Both members have been playing with bands for some time. Shawn (vocals/lyrics) has been active in many scenes including hard rock, alternative and industrial as well as rag/blues/jazz. Greg has also been active in several scenes including rock, alternative and indie.

The band began when Greg responded to an ad Shawn posted looking for instrumentalist to form a new project. Shawn coined the name and created the character "Shotgun Abby"… Show more as vision of an entity both well intentioned and yet dangerous. The music should embody this - hopeful and reflective, as well as hard and edgy - it all depends on 'her' mood. Currently the band is composed of Shawn, Greg, Jon Jackson on bass, Tony Hunt on drums and The Abbys (Kerry Deupner & Shannon Dey.)
