Kristin Key

Kristin Key started her comedy career at the tender age of 19 in the small west Texas town of Amarillo. Audiences couldn't help but love the rapid-fire style of comedy coming from the "Preacher's Kid," and though female comics struggled to find work she was booked not for being a woman but for simply being funny. In 2005 Last Comic Standing held their auditions in Austin Texas. Like every other Texas comic she stood in line hoping for a chance to be seen. "My goal was to get one joke on TV, just… Show more one joke!" She got more than just one joke, advancing to the semi-finals and beyond becoming the youngest person ever to make it into the house. Her years as a road comic paid off, and as the episodes aired, her fan base exploded.
