Chocolate Nutcracker

The Chocolate Nutcracker is an urban take on the holiday classic. The production is a multicultural theatrical dance adaptation of Tchaikovsky's famed Nutcracker.

Set in early 1950s' Harlem, with a case of theater professionals and children, the performance tells the story of young Claire and the Chocolate Nutcracker as the two journey around the world in a dream. During their global travels, from Harlem to Egypt to West Africa in Magical settings such as "The Rain Forest," "The Land of Funk" and "Jazz Land."
