Jimmy Palmiotti is co-founder of such companies as Event Comics, Black Bull Media, Marvel Knights and the current Paperfilms, where he is partners with Amanda Conner and Justin Gray.

He has created and co-created numerous series and characters including: The New West, The Monolith, 21 Down, The Resistance, The Pro, Gatecrasher, Beautiful Killer, Ash, Cloudburst, Trigger Girl 6, Thrill Seeker and Painkiller Jane, which was turned into a Sci–Fi Channel original movie in 2005 and TV series in 2007.

Currently he is co-writing with Justin Gray the D.C. comic book series Jonah Hex, Uncle Sam And The Freedom Fighters, and Crisis Aftermath: The Battle For Bludhaven. He also co-wrote two books for the new Superman movie. At Marvel, he is currently writing Daughters Of The Dragon, Heroes For Hire, and Claws, and a mini-series featuring the art of Joe Linsner.

In film development are a number of projects which include “Just A Pilgrim”, “Tempest”, and a few new projects to be announced.
