Erick Weiss

Erick Weiss, Founder and President of Honeysweet
Productions, worked for the famed event production
company, Along Came Mary Productions, for over 17
years serving as a Senior Event Producer, Executive Vice
President and General Manager for the last six. He has
produced headliner performers including Garth Brooks,
Paul Simon, Phil Collins, The Eagles, Neil Sedaka, Neil Young,
Earth, Wind and Fire, The Black Eyed Peas, Big and Rich
and countless others. While at ACM, Erick was the Senior
Producer for the official GRAMMY after-party for the
National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for over
eight years. These events grew to include 6000 guests taking
place in the LA Convention Center with budgets over $2
million featuring dozens of entertainers, cirque performers,
performance artists and headliner bands. Erick was most
recently the recipient of the first LA BizBash award for
Best Décor for the 2006 Grammy Celebration. Erick has
produced countless other events nationwide including major
award shows at locations such as the Kodak Theatre in
Hollywood and Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco.
In his tenure at ACM, Erick helped manage the company
as it grew from revenues of $4 million in the early 1990’s
to $14 million in 2006.

Erick founded Honeysweet Productions in 2007 to focus
on his passion for creative show production. Honeysweet
is dedicated to streamlining the production process to
insure the finest technical direction, show production
and stage management. As a director and actor himself,
Erick is devoted to the artist’s process and seeks to create
a world class professional environment to inspire the greatest
creativity resulting in the best performance possible. Erick
surrounds himself with the best in the business and puts
together the finest team most suited to any given production.
Over the past 17 years Erick has developed a phenomenal
network of professionals committed to the same kind of
excellence he requires. From accurate budget forecasting
to precisely line-itemed budgets, Honeysweet Productions
provides overall creative direction and production
management for events and shows of all scales both
private and public.

Erick brings creative magic to every production and event.
In addition to his vast event production experience, he has
acted in, directed and produced numerous professional
theatrical productions nationwide and appeared in many
prime time television shows as well as several films. With a
Masters in Theatre from the University of Toronto, Erick
excels at directing the collaborative creative process and
brings a unique creative voice to every project he touches.
