If you've been to a show that was billed as "improv comedy" you probably saw a different kind of performance than those that are usually performed by the Un-Scripted Theater Company. The Un-Scripted Theater Company likes to use improvisation to create theater that is normally only put on by "serious theater" companies. Sure Un-Scripted Theater Company shows are usually quite funny, but with 2-hour improvised Shakespeare shows, or Musicals, or Charles Dickens plays, the Un-Scripted Theater Company is attempting to move improvisation out of the realm of standard silly comedy and into a fun spontaneous look at high quality live theater.
