The PBR is the world’s premier bull riding organization.
Think about that for a second: “bull riding.” Trying to stay onboard a two-ton animal who would like nothing more than spear you like a campfire weenie and to stomp you into a mewing pile of compost.
This is high-octane adrenaline at its best.
When there’s nothing more than six feet of hollow steel fence separating you from pure stinking hell on hooves, you’ll understand.
You’ll understand why we sell out Madison Square Garden every year. You’ll get why Las Vegas rolls out the red carpet for these impossibly brave cowboys, year after year.
The Built Ford Tough Series is the PBR’s nationally-televised elite tour featuring the best of the best. The BFTS makes approximately 30 stops annually across the country. The season opens each year at New York, and concludes in Las Vegas with the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals. The World Finals are the richest bull riding event on the planet, with a total purse of more than $2 million, including a $1 million bonus to the PBR World Champion, who also receives the coveted World Champion buckle.
If you watch “Dancing with the Stars,” you already know our co-founder Ty Murray, a nine-time World Champion. And if you’ve seen “The Amazing Race,” you know bull rider Cord McCoy, who’s appeared twice.
More than 100 million viewers annually watch primetime PBR programming on networks around the world, including CBS and CBS Sports Network.
This isn’t your father’s rodeo. There’s nothing harmless about our animals, and the only ones who are abused are the men who ride them. Nearly two million fans attend Built Ford Tough Series and Touring Pro Division events each year. Isn’t it time you checked out what everyone’s talking about?
