Tapedeck

Rather than trying to cash in on the hot trends of the moment, electro remix duo Tapedeck started making music with hopes of crafting new sounds and pushing boundaries. Fashionably out of fashion, Seb and Alax got their start as club promoters and DJs. Sharing the turntables, they started blending electro, rock, and R&B in their sets, swinging the mood drastically from Kate Nash to Daft Punk. After a notable remix of the Klaxons, the group started gaining attention outside of their scene and made plans to release their first single, "Destiny," on Meal Deal Records in March of 2008. ~ Jason Lymangrover, All Music Guide
