Asa

Singer/songwriter Asa (born Bukola Elemide in Paris, 1982) arrived on the scene in 2007 with a smooth blend of warm and soulful folkish influences rooted in her Nigerian background. The highlights of her first album, Asha, ranged from catchy and groovy tunes to softly realized and warmly interpreted ballads.
