Chris Robinson

Chris Robinson (born Dec. 20, 1966 in Marietta, GA) is a singer and guitarist in the band the Black Crowes along with his brother, guitarist Rich Robinson.

Chris helped found the band in 1984 under the name "Mr. Crowe's Garden." The band changed their name to the Black Crowes in 1989 and signed to Rick Rubin's "Def American" label. With the Black Crowes, Robinson has released 8 studio albums, and 3 live albums.

Chris has also done some independent work with his side band "Chris Robinson and the New Earth Mud" or simply "New Earth Mud" starting in 2002. He's released two albums with this project before reuniting the Black Crowes in 2005 (they had been on hiatus since 2002).

Robinson was married to actress Kate Hudson from 2000 to 2006 and have one child together.
