Harlem Teens Choir
The choir’s mission is to “save the music” by teaching kids ages 13 to 19 the art of R&B and jazz, as well as to acknowledge the contributions that African-American music make to American culture. The Harlem Teens Choir, which was formed by Vy Higgonsen, has performed concerts at colleges, corporate events, and venues including: Radio City Music Hall, the Waldorf Astoria, the Stellar Awards, the MTV Hope for Haiti Telethon, Winter Fashion Week in New York City and many other special events.
