Painted Betty, formed in 2009 in the Hudson Valley, buoyantly blends elements of county, jazz, blues, and tango into a unique sound. A six-piece acoustic band, Betty features two female lead singers: Deb Madsen's alto twang and tough-tender songwriting lends country grit.
