Commemorative Air Force Dixie Wing Peachtree City, GA

10th annual public history program that recreates the sights and sounds of World War II. Vintage military aircraft, vehicles and equipment, educational displays and demonstrations, reenactors portraying Allied and Axis troops, and canteen show. Food, souvenirs and memorabilia available for purchase.

Weekend highlights include Opening Ceremony with WWII veterans and "Keep 'em Flying" a 1940's-theme hangar dance complete with 21-piece swing band. (Ticket purchase required)
