El Reposo

My husband and I got together with some friends of ours and decided to go to El Reposo-- huge mistake!!

Everything started off simple enough our drinks took a little longer than expected, but the fresh guac came out promptly... this was the end of remotely reasonable service.

It took us an hour and a half to get our food!!! READ: 90 MINUTES. Our server claimed there was a backup in the kitchen, but due to those sat after us it was clear that she forgot to even put our order in (seriously, how complicated are combo dinners and chicken quesadillas? It's not like we ordered special dinners or anything). And when the food started to come out, the couple we were with got theirs but my husband and I were still waiting-- it wasn't until the manager came over (once again 90 minutes into this mess) that our food came out.

My glass was empty with no sign of the server at least three times-- and my husband's at least twice as many.

The local Kroger has $7 off coupons. Don't even waste your time. The servers are incompent and will screw your order up if you use one-- also the coupons say 'one per party' which I took to mean 'one per check' but apparently not.

So after waiting an hour and a half for our food (a full 90 minutes) and for empty glasses of sweet tea while we were waiting, the server accepted the $7 off only for the couple with us.

But it gets even better-- not only did we not get a discount for such terrible service, but the couple who used the coupon only saw their bill drop from $27.29 down to $24.68 -- I have yet to figure out the math that this place uses!!

WILL NEVER RETURN!

We will be visiting La Parilla in Fayetteville from now on.
