The Pawtucket Public Library is a complex of two historic buildings, the Deborah Cook Sayles Public Library and the Gerald S. Burns Building, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The library has been serving the community since 1902 and the library's bookmobile has been visiting local neighborhoods since 1968.
The library is part of the Ocean State Library network and accepts and issues OSL library cards. In addition to our extensive lending collection, we also offer computer classes in both English & Spanish, literacy classes, and a variety of educational and entertainment opportunities for adults, teens, and children. Please visit our website at www.pawtucketlibrary.org for more information, and to access a wide variety of electronic resources accessible from your home computer.
