Ice Fishing

Are you looking to get out of the house after the holidays? Come to The Wildlife Experience and experience ice fishing first-hand. Join Dave Bryant and Bill Miller from Lake Ice U.S.A. at the museum where we will begin with a classroom introduction to ice fishing. Dave and Bill will discuss and demonstrate ice safety, tackle, gear and trout fishing techniques. We will then head off-site and experience ice fishing under the expert tutelage of Lake Ice USA! Fishing location will be determined a few… Show more days prior to the event. We have multiple weather dependent locations each about a forty-five minute drive from the museum. Ice fishing rods and tackle will be provided. Dress for outdoor, winter weather, warm boots are especially important. Minimum age is 6 years. Parents must register and participate with children. $20 Members/$23 Non-members Participants must obtain a Colorado fishing license (see the website). Call 720.488.3344 to register today!
