The Spirituals Project Choir is an integral part of the story of the spirituals and of The Spirituals Project organization. The choir consists of nearly 80 members, singers of all ages and backgrounds with varying degrees of musical experience. Under the direction of Bennie Williams, Artistic Director, and John Hubert, Choir Director, this community choir provides an opportunity for people to connect with the spirituals and to perform the many arrangements written for choral performance.
