Wednesday, Feb 20 12:00p
to

Hopewell Museum
Paris,
KY
The road from Lexington to Maysville has a long and colorful history. Known first as the Limestone Trace, the road was a principal route for people who traveled and lived along the road. This exhibit uses archaeological excavations conducted during recent road improvements to interpret the road's historical geography and social contexts. Sponsored by KY Transportation Cabinet, Federal Highway Administration, KY Archaeological Survey and the W.S. Webb Museum of Anthropology.
