Chimdi Chekwa and the Greater Bay Area Chapter of JDRF came together to develop Camp One. We wanted to create a fun, competitive, welcoming environment that children could learn and be aware of type 1 diabetes (T1D). Our goal is to encourage good sportsmanship, acceptability, and to promote the idea that no matter what the circumstances are in your life you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
