Valentin Popov's "Ironic Icons" is a must see exhibit!
Religious icons are created and altered to reflect the pop culture relating to our lives. The artist incorporates familiar symbols and super heros such as Facebook, Mcdonald's, BP, Batman and Wonder woman.
The opening reception is on January 5th, 2013 from 3-5p.m. The Popov, popup show will end on January 19th.
Smith Andersen Editions is open Wednesdays-Saturdays from 10- 2. or by appointment. The gallery is at 440 Pepper Ave. Palo Alto.
