Windy City specialties start with the "The Comfort Zone" which includes homemade Roast Pork Loin, Pot Roast, Baked Mac & Cheese and MeatLoaf. The menu also offers a large selection of juicy steaks, fresh seafood, succulent ribs and pork chops, and pasta dishes. Burgers, specialty sandwiches and homemade pizzas are family favorites. Soups and salads are perfect if looking for something on the lighter side. The Kid's menu offers everything from a Kid's Steak to Grilled Cheese. The desserts include a carrot cake and cheese cake that are actually made by the owner's mom. The bar boasts twenty beers on tap and twenty more in bottles along with such specialty drinks as The Cat's Meow Mojito and the Windy City Chill and a delightful wine list to choice from. Windy City Grill and Tap is owned and operated by Mark Damas who has enjoyed over thirty years in the food and beverage industry, opening and managing both privately held and national chain restaurants in a number of cities.John Damas has been a life long suburban resident. He attended the Siebel Institute of technology to receive formal brewery training in Chicago and Munich.
