Rome
Rome
Thrill Jockey instrumental duo Rome are, like many of the acts on the Chicago-based independent label, generally categorized as loose adherents of "post-rock," a period-genre arising in the mid-'90s to refer to rock-based bands utilizing the instruments and structures of music in a non-traditionalist or otherwise heavily mutated fashion....
Dirty Heads
Dirty Heads
Following in the footsteps of their California brothers Sublime, Huntington Beach’s Dirty Heads mix hip-hop, reggae, and rock along with that laid-back, South Cali attitude. The group formed in 2003 when punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B) asked his friend, rapper Jared Watson (aka Dirty J) to collaborate on a project that would focus on positive vibes and infectious grooves....
Chiddy Bang
Chiddy Bang
Philadelphia's clever alt-hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang burst on the scene in early 2010 with their MGMT-sampling track "The Opposite of Adults." They formed in 2009 as a four-piece electronic-meets-hip-hop group, but by the end of the year their lineup had been reduced to the duo of rapper Chidera "Proto" Anamege and Xaphoon Jones (aka Noah) on production....
Hoodie Allen
Hoodie Allen
Putting a bit more pop into the pop-rap of folks like Asher Roth and Sam Adams, rapper Hoodie Allen went from Internet favorite to charting artist with the release of his 2012 EP All American. Born Steven Markowitz and raised on Long Island, Hoodie was frat-rap from the beginning, having met producer RJF during an Alpha Epsilon Pi-hosted party at the University of Pennsylvania....
In Flames
In Flames
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Perhaps one of the big clichés, but unusually evident when it comes to In Flames and their new album 'Siren Charms'. To lose one of the musical engines of a band usually means a ticket to the graveyard of bands for an eternal rest among abandoned careers and reasonably forgotten last albums....

30 Seconds To Mars Sokol on May 6th

The band was awesome!! This was hands down THE BEST concert I've ever been to.. They really know how to connect with the crowd and they are totally down to earth. They sounded great live - just like on the radio.. the lighting and effects were fantabulous!! They built this suspense when they started and once the curtain dropped it was a mad house.. Great Show.. hope they really do add us to the next tour like they said!!
