We just tried this restaurant for the first time. I was very dissatisfied. Let me start by saying I am not one to complain about something unless it is really bad and actually this is the first time I have ever put a review up on any restaurant. I have worked in customer service for many years; therefore, I know how difficult it is. That being said, I had to send my food back because it was not eatable. When it came to the table it didn’t look like what I thought it was supposed to look like; however, I said that is fine I will try it. I tasted the sauce that tasted like tomato paste and said I’m sorry I can’t eat this. She asked if I wanted to order something else and I said no because we had someplace to be and I couldn't wait for them to cook something else. The salsa was not to our liking; however, the cheese dip was good. What my son ordered was not bad but my husband’s beans and rice were not good. He tried something new and it wasn’t uneatable like mine was. Again, I usually wouldn’t send food back. Most of the time I can just pick off what I don’t like; however, the red sauce was all over the plate that is why I sent it back. When we received our check the item I had returned was still on it. I showed the waitress and she said she was sorry but they couldn’t help I ordered the wrong thing. I said it wasn’t eatable. She said other people eat it. I looked around and there were maybe 10 people in the restaurant at a normal dinner time on a Friday night. That should have been our first clue. However, we thought it is a fairly new restaurant and wanted to give it a try. It wasn’t like I ate most of it and wanted my meal for free. That frustrates me when customers do this because if it was so bad why did you eat most of it. I sent it back after one sample bite because it was horrible. After refusing to remove the item from our ticket, and I’m ashamed to say me getting too hot headed, I said I will not be back, and this is where the line got crossed, she said “we don’t want you back”. Excuse me, I believe most business want customers. However, by looking at the 10 seats with customers in them apparently they do not. If we had gone down the road to Mi Ranchito I’m sure we would have still had to wait for a table because they know how to treat customers and produce good food. So I end with this, eat at your own risk.
