Alzheimer's and Dementia Education for Family Caregivers

Home Instead Senior Care of Oakmont invites you to attend a free class on Alzheimer's disease and other dementias on Wednesday, January 30.

The workshop focuses on four primary goals:

1) Offer understanding of dementia from a medical perspective
2) Share techniques to manage the challenging behaviors that manifest in dementia patients
3) Emphasize the importance of connecting with a dementia patient through their past experiences
4) Share ways to encourage engagement of dementia patients
