You're invited to join the Black Organizing Project at the Lake Merritt Church in Oakland for an inspiring evening to commemorate our 5th anniversary.
We launched in the fall of 2009 as a way to create protected space for the Black community to address racism and racist institutions while developing the skills and confidence to become strong voices for change. Since then, BOP has reached over 7500 Oakland residents through community outreach and provided political education workshops and trainings… Show more for over 600, creating a pipeline to leadership and political power.

Trouble deciding which ticket to purchase?
The purpose of this event is to honor and celebrate the Black Organizing Project's five years. Money raised in ticket sales will go to support BOP's work in the future. Our ask to you is that you contribute as much as you can at this time.
Individuals are invited to purchase the highest level of ticket possible. The lowest individual ticket price is $25 but, if you are able, please purchase a ticket at the $50 or $100 level. You may also purchase your ticket at the $25 level and make an additional donation with the 'Other Contribution' option.
Members of the Black Organizing Project are invited to purchase the "Member" level ticket at $25. If you are a member and would like to make a higher contribution, you can purchase an Individual ticket at a higher level. Please do not purchase a "Member" ticket if you are not a member of BOP.
Tables are available at different ticket levels. By purchasing a table (or half of a table) you are able to invite family, friends, and allies to join you in support of BOP! Purchase of a full table gives you access to 8 seats at the event and the purchase of half a table gives you access to 4 seats.
Children tickets are available for children under 12 years of age. This ticket price includes dinner and childcare. Little ones (toddlers and infants) who sit and eat with their parent/guardian are not required to purchase a ticket.
Other Contribution . If you would like to purchase your ticket at an unlisted price (although it must be higher than the lowest ticket price of $25), you may do so using the 'Other Contribution' option.
Sliding Scale for Organizations
*Ticket prices are based on a sliding scale. If you are purchasing tickets on behalf of an organization, please use the guidelines below:
