The Salomé Chamber Orchestra, New York City’s electrifying new conductor-less string ensemble, was founded in September 2009 by the Carpenter siblings (violinists Sean and Lauren and violist David). Salomé is based in Manhattan and consists of top-ranking graduates from The Curtis Institute of Music, The Julliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Princeton University, and Yale University.
