Choral Concert: Mozart’s Requiem. The Chancel Choir of St. John’s Episcopal Church, under the direction of Ernest Fredric Knell, performs Mozart’s Requiem in D Minor(K.626) with guests and orchestra, on Palm Sunday, March 24 at 4 pm, at St. John’s (1707 Gouldin Road, off Thornhill, in the Montclair District). Knell served more than 30 years as Associate Chorus Master of the San Francisco Opera, worked with San Francisco Ballet, and has conducted West Bay and Berkeley Operas.
