Absence - New Works by Cyrus Tilton, at Vessel Gallery, Oakland

Vessel Gallery presents the highly anticipated new works of Cyrus Tilton. Following "The Cycle," Tilton turns inward with sculptures that echo "A Place In Between"; "Absence" pushes past limits of his artistic practice. Examining what's representationally revealed / concealed, we feel the artist on the edge of expulsion of habit; expressing human psychological complexity gracefully. The result is newfound expressionism, an emergent identity, and transformation of a self-reflecting artist.
