Bay Area Bead Extravaganza 2009 - Biggest Bead Show in the West!

The 11th annual Bay Area Bead Extravaganza (BABE) is the largest bead and jewelry show in the West, with over 160 juried exhibitors showing unusual beads, jewelry and beading supplies.

For designers, crafters, gift shoppers and collectors, this event offers a chance to view (and buy) some of the world’s most unique beads, most not available at other shows.

Highlights include displays by 40+ American artists making beads and jewelry in glass, sterling, ceramic, polymer and fiber. Dozens of other vendors offer specialty beads, rare, antique and ethnic beads, uncommon stones, tribal silver, pearls, supplies, books and kits.

For developing new skills, BABE! sponsors 30 half-day and full-day workshops for artists from novice to advanced. There are start-to-finish jewelry projects as well as workshops on new techniques in resin, polymer, glass, PMC, wire, metals and more.
