Steve Pile Band "George Harrison Reprise" and Tiny Television at Hopmonk Novato

Hot on the heels of the their sold out “George Harrison Birthday Tribute” at the Hopmonk Sebastopol, the Steve Pile Band will be making their debut at the Novato Hopmonk Saturday, March 9th, with local supergroup Tiny Television opening the show.

Steve Pile Band will be reprising their “musical costume” cover of George Harrison’s “All Things Must Pass” album and many other George hits, this time with a paired down, guitar heavy sextet, along with a healthy dose of Pile originals. The Steve Pile Band has become a mainstay in the North Bay scene, continually packing houses throughout the region with their mix of blues, rock, singer-songwriter Americana, with a touch of African vibes. For this show they’ll be adding additional guitarists and backing vocals to capture the bigness of Harrison’s songs, as well as perform select cuts from their own original repertoire.

Tiny Television not only shares a bassist (Brian Rashap) with Steve Pile Band, but shares an eclectic musical attitude that is shaping what can only be described as the Northern California sound. Rooted in Americana, with touches of psychedelia, rock and blues, with rich and layered vocal harmonies. Not to mention pedal steel guitar to die for...They’ll be playing tracks from their soon to be released sophomore release.
