Unleash the power of your stories using iPad video.
A one-day master class with former BBC video journalist Rob Glass
Overview:
Telling real life stories is a powerful form of interactive marketing. The popularity of video is rising so if we’re going to tell our stories we really need to be using video. This one-day course shows participants how to tell their own stories professionally using video and is made possible by using iPads.
Before and during the day participants will develop their awareness… Show more of what makes a great story, and how telling these using video makes marketing sense. They will increase their understanding of how television and video is put together professionally. They will learn how to film and narrate their story as well as seeing how to talk effectively to people who appear in each film. They will also learn how to edit their films together professionally (all using the iPad).
This course is for forward-thinking individuals, businesses and organisations who have core values and qualities that they are keen to communicate to their audience professionally. It is also for people keen to bring other forms of video (such as testimonials) to their website, as well as those keen to explore the capabilities of their iPad. No previous experience is necessary. Each participant is given an interactive reference book and loaned an iPad for the day. A series of logical discussions, exercises and workshops culminate in a template for telling stories professionally using video. This template enables participants to go away and select, film and edit their own stories as often as they want using the iPad.
This workshop is delivered in-house to a maximum of 10 delegates. Lunch and refreshments are provided. Because video is both shot and edited using iPads, there is no requirement for delegates to bring any stationery or It equipment.
The course currently costs £249.00 per person. This includes Vat and sign-up fees and comes with a money-back guarantee for any participant who feels the course has under-delivered.
“Rob is a true professional and his enthusiasm is infectious and inspiring.”
