Lead Instructor - Randy Keirn is a training professional with over 25 years of experience in Fire Services serving as Chief Officer, Instructor, and community educator. He currently serves as a District Chief and Division Chief of Ems for Lealman Fire District in Pinellas County, Florida. He spent the past 11 years as the Department's Training Officer and was honored as the 2010 State of Florida Fire Service Instructor of the Year.
He specializes in Conflict Resolution and Leadership training. He is an External Training Facilitator for the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Corporation conducting Leadership training for Cultural Transformation to new Team Leaders, Support Staff, and Senior Level Leadership at all of their manufacturing facilities since 2010.
Randy has a Masters Degree in Public Administration (Mpa), Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management, Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), Instructor III, Fire Inspector, Registered Nurse and Paramedic. He is Master Trainer for the Conflict Dynamic Profile (CDP), Certified Results Coach, and is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (Mbti). He is a lifelong learner with leadership roles in both his profession and in his community.
Important Information:
Dress code: based on department policy or business casual recommended.
Meals: Lunch Not included.
Student cancellations: must be received in writing (email acceptable) 10 days prior to start of program for reimbursement. A $10 administrative fee will be charged. Cancellations received with less than 10 days, but at least 3 days before the start of program will incur a fee of 50% of registration costs. No cancellations will be accepted within 3 days of event and will not be eligible for reimbursement.
Course cancellation: In the event we need to cancel the course (due to low registrations or unforseen event), students will be reimbursed for registration fees within 30 days.
