Advanced Vet Camp

This academic camp provides a wonderful introduction to veterinary medicine and is a perfect step for any student, age 15-18, interested in a career in this field. Classroom time will be balanced with opportunities for observation and involvement at Charleston Animal Society's medical clinic and hands-on work with the shelter animals. High School students will be doing physical exams on animals, learning how to read X-rays, watching surgeries,
performing dissections, managing disease and much more.
