Location: King County Parks' Cavanaugh Pond Natural Area. Kick off planting season along the Cedar River with Friends of the Cedar River Watershed and King County Parks at Cavanaugh Pond Natural Area! Cavanaugh Pond Natural Area is home to bald eagles, salamanders, pileated woodpeckers, and noted for populations of spawning sockeye salmon.
