The 6 Herdman children are the worst kids in the whole history of the world. They lie and steal and smoke cigars (even the girls) and talk dirty and cuss their teachers and take the name of the Lord in vain. They go to church for the first time merely because they find out snacks are offered at Sunday School. Instead, they find themselves as the lead roles in the Christmas Pageant and the woman who's always directed the show just broke her leg and can't do it...so someone else steps in to take charge of the entire production...and of the Herdmans! While everyone expects the show to be a disaster, they are surprised to find the real meaning of Christmas in this humorous and heartwarming look at the traditional annual Christmas Pageant.
