Fall Out Boy
Fall Out Boy Remove performer from this event
Perhaps the most popular punk band since Green Day hit the mainstream in the mid 1990s. ~ Rovi
The 1975
The 1975 Remove performer from this event
Hailing from Manchester, U.K., the 1975 managed to combine the dark and youthful themes of sex, love, and fear with ethereal alt-rock music. The four-piece met at school in 2002, although lead singer and guitarist Matt Healy was born in London and drummer George Daniel was born across the North Sea in Brussels....
The Neighbourhood
The Neighbourhood Remove performer from this event
In early 2012 a mysterious band appeared online. The group, The Neighbourhood, revealed no biographical information, no photos and no backstory, offering only a moody track titled "Female Robbery....
Capital Cities
Capital Cities Remove performer from this event
Fusing the sentiments of early hardcore and the sounds of D.C. post-punk, the Capitol City Dusters started off originally as the Dusters in 1996. Guitarist/vocalist Alec Bourgeois and drummer Benjamin Azzara got together when their respective Washington bands, Severin and Delta 72, split up....
New Politics
New Politics Remove performer from this event
Rambunctious Danish indie rockers New Politics formed in the late 2000s around the talents of vocalist David Boyd, guitarist/vocalist/keyboard player Søren H, and drummer Poul Amaliel. The band’s high-energy, guitar-driven blend of punk, pop, and electronically induced dance rock (Boyd specializes in wildly unpredictable stage posturing) eventually caught the ears (and eyes) of RCA, who signed the group in 2009....
MS MR
MS MR Remove performer from this event
The mysterious New York City-based musical duo MS MR (Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow) emerged to make their imprint on 2012 with "Hurricane," an introspective alt-pop masterpiece heralding the arrival of a new band, a new sound and a new approach to pop....

You get used to it after awhile

Somewhere, the best thing about Fall Out Boy went from watching YouTube videos skewering the lead singer's inability to pronounce simple words to the bouwncy wouwncy woodling mewoodies. Having been burned by bands that float two radio hits on a sea of blah (Pet Shop Boys, anyone? anyone?), I now wait patiently for proof that catchy really is. "Dance, Dance" sure sounds catchy, and who can resist screaming "I am an arms dealer" stuck between Palo Alto and Cupertino for evening rush. But now at last "thanks for the memories" closes the deal: a song that is as catchy as its title (thnks fr th mmrs) is clever self-parody. But really guys, that "what the hell is he saying" thing is starting to get old.
